Tailwind Co ABN: 69 456 120 434 operates an ecommerce store and aviation mentorship services through its website tailwindco.com.au. These Terms and Conditions govern all transactions, interactions, and use of our website and services.

Our services include, but are not limited to:

•     Ecommerce products sold via tailwindco.com.au

•     Aviation career mentorship programs and guidance

•     Digital resources, course materials, and informational content

•     One-on-one or group mentorship sessions

 

2. Independent Status & No Affiliation

Tailwind Co explicitly does not represent, act on behalf of, or have any formal association with any of the following organisations or any of their subsidiaries, divisions, or related entities:

•     Virgin Australia Airlines Pty Ltd

•     Qantas Airways Limited and the Qantas Group (including Jetstar, QantasLink, and associated brands)

•     Australian Defence Force (ADF), Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), Australian Army Aviation, or Royal Australian Navy Aviation

•     Rex Airlines (Regional Express)

•     Any other domestic or international airline, charter operator, or aviation organisation

•     Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA)

•     Airservices Australia

Any reference to these organisations within our content is purely for informational, educational, or illustrative purposes only. Such references do not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.

 

3. No Employment Guarantee

By purchasing or participating in any Tailwind Co aviation mentorship service, you acknowledge and agree that:

•     All information, guidance, and mentorship provided is for educational and informational purposes only

•     Hiring decisions rest solely with individual employers and are entirely outside the control of Tailwind Co

•     Career outcomes depend on many factors including individual performance, market conditions, employer requirements, and regulatory standards

•     Tailwind Co mentors share personal experience and knowledge but cannot influence or guarantee hiring decisions

•     Aviation industry entry requirements, selection criteria, and recruitment processes may change without notice

•     Participation in our programs does not confer any formal qualification, licence, or certification unless explicitly stated

We strongly encourage all clients to conduct their own research and seek additional advice from qualified industry professionals, CASA-approved training organisations, and registered education providers.

 

4. Ecommerce — Purchases & Payments

4.1 Orders

All orders placed through tailwindco.com.au constitute an offer to purchase. Tailwind Co reserves the right to accept or decline any order at its discretion. An order is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email from us.

4.2 Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of checkout.

4.3 Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. We accept payment via the methods displayed at checkout. By providing payment details, you warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

4.4 Refunds & Returns

Physical Products: Refunds or exchanges may be requested within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and returned with proof of purchase. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Digital Products & Downloadable Content: Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final once the product has been accessed or downloaded. Refunds will not be issued except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

Mentorship Sessions: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled session will receive a full refund or credit. Cancellations within 48 hours of a session are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged in full.

4.5 Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes, or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable consumer protection legislation. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

 

5. Aviation Mentorship Services

5.1 Nature of Services

Tailwind Co provides aviation career mentorship drawing on the personal experience of our mentors. Our services are designed to provide general career guidance, interview preparation, application support, and industry insights.

5.2 Not Professional Advice

The content and guidance provided through our mentorship services does not constitute professional aviation training, regulated instruction, or certified education. It is not a substitute for CASA-approved training, formal aviation qualifications, or advice from licensed aviation professionals.

5.3 Accuracy of Information

Whilst Tailwind Co takes reasonable care to ensure the accuracy of information provided, the aviation industry is subject to frequent regulatory and operational changes. We make no warranty that information provided is current, complete, or applicable to your specific circumstances. You should independently verify all material information before acting on it.

5.4 Mentor Qualifications

Our mentors share knowledge based on their own personal aviation career experience. Mentor backgrounds and credentials will be disclosed where relevant. Tailwind Co does not warrant that any mentor holds specific licences, ratings, or certifications beyond those disclosed.

 

6. Intellectual Property

All content on tailwindco.com.au, including text, graphics, logos, images, course materials, and digital products, is the intellectual property of Tailwind Co or its licensors and is protected by Australian copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from our website or services without our prior written consent. Purchased digital materials are licensed for personal use only and may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailwind Co and its directors, employees, mentors, and contractors shall not be liable for:

•     Any failure to secure employment or achieve career outcomes

•     Loss of income, opportunity, or career progression

•     Decisions made by employers, airlines, or aviation organisations

•     Inaccuracies in industry information that arise from changes beyond our control

•     Any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss or damage

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

 

8. Privacy

Tailwind Co is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Personal information collected through our website or services will only be used to fulfil your order, deliver our services, and communicate with you.
